Hi, I'm Anne
I have spent the last three years supporting emerging leaders to feel more confident and build their emotional intelligence to create more impact.
The ten years before that, I was a senior leader in the male-dominated engineering industry myself and experienced what it means to be a courageous leader in the face of challenges.
I still remember what it felt like. There were many weeks and months where I felt exhausted, and I was worried I would fail. On the one hand, I knew that I had the ability to be a great leader, but on the other hand, self-doubt kept creeping in whenever I felt out of depth. And to be honest, as a leader, you feel a little out of depth most of the time.
I tried to look at the leaders above me to learn from them. I thought I had to become more like them. But what I soon realised was that it did not feel like me. It did not align with my values and strengths.
I knew there had to be another, a better way.
And so, I went on a quest to become the best leader I could be. I studied emotional intelligence and practised self-awareness and self-regulation. I learned communication strategies, explored effective feedback conversations and invested in understanding and applying my leadership strengths.
And the result was that I turned into a confident leader that led from her values, even when it meant making some tough decisions and challenging some old-school thinking.
Today I know that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to leadership. What people trust and respect is authenticity. It’s not just what you know but who you are that makes you an inspiring leader.
And here is what I realised: It is time for a leadership revolution.
There is no room anymore for authority-driven leadership that uses shame and scare tactics to create results. It is time to challenge bad leadership when we see it and show that we stand for more.
And so today, as a certified CliftonStrengths and Emotional intelligence Coach, I support my clients to drive the change in the leadership world.

The "Lead Like YOU!" Group Coaching Program
Lead Like YOU! is a 12-week Group Coaching Program for emerging leaders that would like to lead with confidence, communicate effectively and create impact.
In 6 targeted modules, I’ll guide you through all the significant milestones on your leadership journey, and you will walk away with practical strategies and tools you can implement straight away.
Each module will consist of a 60-minute interactive masterclass, a little bit of homework, implementation exercises and reflection, followed by a 60-minute group coaching session a week later to deepen your growth and allow for lots of support from my side and an exchange within the group.
This is a small group program with a maximum of 10 participants. This ensures everyone will get the ability to ask questions, feel supported and build trust amongst the group. You will gain a community of like-minded peers. You will learn and grow together and have a trusted circle of individuals you can ask for advice and support.

Module 1: Lead with your Strengths
This is where our journey starts. We will kick things off with the CliftonStrengths34 assessment. Within the first moments of our masterclass, you will multiply your level of self-awareness. Suddenly, so much is going to make sense. Why certain tasks come with ease, and others feel so difficult. Why some things motivate you and answers drain your energy.
We will dive into how you can embrace what makes you unique to create impact, create momentum and lead yourself and others more effectively.
Even if you have done your Strengths Assessment before, I promise you will walk away with new aha moments and strategies for your leadership and life. CliftonStrengths is a gift that keeps on giving.
Module 3: Your Authentic Leadership Brand
Authentic Leaders have the ability to build trust with their teams quickly. They know what they stand for and lead by example.
In this module, we will take a deeper look at your leadership brand, your identity and your distinctiveness as a leader. When you know what is important to you, you will be able to inspire others for your vision. Together, we will explore the following questions. What do you believe in? What are your values? What does it mean to lead with your values? What is the impact you want to create?
When you clearly identify what you want to be known for, you can align your thoughts, behaviours and actions to embody it in your day to day work.
Module 5: Master Courageous Conversations
Now it is time to build your confidence in being assertive and having crucial conversations.
Courageous conversations allow us to challenge the status quo and create momentum for change. It requires active listening and effective feedback conversations.
Together, we will define the meaning of effective communication, define strategies to be more straightforward and speak up for yourself. We will learn how to listen actively. We will also explore how you can lead confident feedback conversations and performance reviews. We will provide you with practical tips and cheat sheets to prepare yourself effectively for the next courageous conversation. Let's create conversations that leave everyone feeling empowered, not frustrated or vulnerable.
Module 2: Your Emotional Intelligence for Leadership
Emotional Intelligence is a core competency for courageous leaders. It provides you with the ability to recognize and manage your emotions.
Furthermore, Emotional Intelligence enables us to understand and recognize emotions in others. This allows us to manage relationships effectively and motivate our teams most compellingly.
In this module, we will walk through the key competencies and develop individual strategies to improve your EI.
As a result, you will be able to build trust because you understand people better and regulate your own emotions, thoughts and behaviours more intentionally.
Module 4: Your Self-Leadership and Wellbeing
For Leaders to have an impact on other people, they need to lead themselves first to understand how they show up and create inspiration and motivation.
We define Self-Leadership as knowing and understanding ourselves, our emotions, our strengths, motivators and drivers when things get tough or feel uncertain. This is key to set goals, build motivation and resilience.
Another essential part of self-leadership is your wellbeing.
Leadership can be exhausting, especially in these challenging times. Leaders need to take care of themselves first to avoid burnout.
Together, we will explore how you can stay motivated for your goals and define and set essential boundaries. We will also cover implementing well-being practices and ensuring you recharge regularly.
Module 6: Increase your Influence & Impact to Lead in a Hybrid World
Leadership and influence go hand in hand. Those who master the art of influence are often skilled at tapping into the emotions that motivate individuals for action.
Leaders have to learn to build rapport and trust quickly to increase influence and impact. They need to tap into active listening and lead by example.
Together, we will define strategies to develop your transformational influence to inspire others through encouragement, feedback and empathy.
We will close our time together with your personal leadership promise. Your promise to yourself and the people you lead. You will summarise what you stand for, what you envision, and the impact you want to have on the people you lead.

Yes, absolutely. You are welcome to sign up no matter where you live. However, make sure the time of the group sessions works for your time zone (12:30pm AEDT). To get the most out of the program, it is advised that you attend the sessions live. But don't worry if you can't make every session. You will be able to catch up on the recording and exercises.
We’ll cover off each module via a 60min Zoom session every week. As part of your journey, you’re highly encouraged to complete the targeted worksheets, templates and resources so you can apply your takeaways from each module first hand in real-life settings. The workload can fit around a busy life and is tailored to see takeaways from your daily experiences as you go along.
